Beyond Books purchase terms
Effective September 24, 2026
These terms will apply when checkout is available to the Beyond Books website, free previews, and purchases of Metalalia digital storybooks.
The offer
The first page of each listed book is available free. At launch, a one-time $3.99 USD payment will unlock the remaining online content of one selected book for the Google account used at checkout. Each title will be sold separately. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, shipment, or downloadable book file.
Purchases and accounts
You must provide accurate information and use a Google account you are authorized to control. Stripe processes payment details and confirms payment to Beyond Books. You authorize the displayed one-time charge when you submit checkout. Access will normally appear after Stripe confirms successful payment.
Personal license
A purchase grants the account holder a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view and hear the selected book through the service. You may not copy, publish, sell, share, scrape, redistribute, publicly perform, or bypass access controls for the story text, art, narration, or music.
Age and family use
Purchases must be made by an adult who can enter a binding agreement. An adult may use a purchased book with children under their supervision, but account and payment management remain the adult's responsibility.
Availability
We work to keep purchased books available and to fix reported access problems. Internet service, supported browser software, and a usable Google account are required. The service may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance, security, or events outside our control.
Refunds and acceptable use
The refund and cancellation policy is part of these terms. We may suspend access used for fraud, unauthorized distribution, attacks on the service, or violation of these terms. This does not limit any rights that applicable law gives you.
